If all repair shops were run like 4th Street, the car care world would be a
better place. These guys are simply the best. Their work is first rate. One
of the most remarkable things I've encountered is that they know what they
can and can't fix… and if they can't do the best job on a repair for some
legitimate reason, they'll recommend you to someone in the area who will do
the job right. They seem to treat every car as if it was their own.

I am an Auto Buyers Agent type broker who searches all over the U.S. for
high quality, low mileage cars and trucks for my clients. The reason I chose
4th St Auto was because of the AC Delco Approved facility. My need was to
check out a 4-year-old Mercury Sable wagon with only 16,000 miles on it. I
stressed to the 4th St Auto rep named Gary that we need him to be our eyes
and go over the vehicle's exterior before commencing with any diagnostic
evaluation. Almost immediately upon the vehicle's arrival at 4th Street
Auto, Gary called to tell me of spray paint over the door-jam, a sizable
scratch on the door and a half-dozen (or so) notable scratches/marks on the
rear bumper. My client was informed of these things right away and decided
against the vehicle based upon 4th Street Auto's physical inspection. Gary
wanted to charge a mere 1/10th of an hour labor for his work. I insisted
that he charge us more, because he did saved us from selecting a car that
seemed to be exceptional, but in fact was not exceptional. I trust this
company without thinking twice…If I find another vehicle in that area, I
will certainly call 4th Street Auto again.
